Theres actually no Hijab ban in Tajikistan. Whats banned in Tajikistan is the style of Hijab. You can wear the hijab as long as you wear it in traditional Tajik style. Ripped jeans are also banned FYI. This news from TRT World is not accurate.

Don't choose bad politicians! Unfortunately, majority of Tajikistan politicians are not practicing Muslims. Arabic attires has nothing to do with Islam. But its attire fits the requirements of being modest as required in Islam. Malay culture for example, their women normally wear the traditional attire baju kurung. Hijab was introduced to them in late 70s and it fused well with their culture without problem. When Islam is well practiced, you know the do and don't. The same goes with the dress code, which part to cover, etc. Wearing hijab doesn't make one be or look Arab. Keeping beard makes you a terrorist is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life.
