As a 30 year gamer and 28 year carpenter, I built a corner desk 20 years ago on electric hydraulics that changes height for when I stand and is built to add a leaf for multiple towers and 2 tiers at the rear for monitors. The only thing I have removed is the under desk keyboard tray as it was never useful but have added multi 3.0 USB mount extensions under the top with cable management velcro attached to the table and trunking to hide all the cables.
