The song was first released on the "Music from Songwriter" album, the soundtrack to the movie "Songwriter" with Kris and Willie (1984)
Kris seems to really love it, for he also has a rendition of it on his album
"A moment of forever" (1995), though leaving out a verse on that one.
I DO really love it, and I do love Stephen's guitar solo here...

I met Kris in Las Vegas at Calamity Janes in 1992 and the guy was nice as you would expect to me and my wife, he was down to earth as Ol' Waylon, two of my favorite artists evva. His concert was amazing, all his good songs!!!
