A lot of times for me it's when teammates just don't talk, are toxic, or refuse to communicate or listen for callouts. Imo it's because people hate being told what to do, which often leads to conflict in the team and the team losing, even if you are extremely nice and tactful when you ask for callouts and communication.

The pressure of being better then my friends when I play with them is way too high and it makes me super stressed, sad and toxic towards others on my team. In solo queue that pressure doesn’t really exist so that’s my preferred way of playing.

Solo que is great for finding random people to vibe with, however, the problem is that it’s basically a coin flip every game. When the game starts people might act all nice and friendly, or more often just pick a character and not talk. Then at the end of the game, especially if that team loses, they start harassing and insulting each other. I think the problem is the matching making is so bad and once you hit a certain rank you’re just dealing with too many serious people who refuse to communicate

but i like playing non ranked with other people

the thing i hate with solo que is its so likely you will get someone trolling or afk, it happens almost every game for me :(

The experience is also dependenz on the day and the time. On the weekends my teammates are mostly way more chill

I specifically played solo queue for the last 1.5 years. I was gold with my friends because I'd either get carried by my friends or we would goof off and lose the matches. I one day decided to grind the ranked system, suggested the idea to my friend and half of them legit quit the game. They were casuals but I wanted to be competitive. So I went in solo. At first I was actually getting mad and flaming at people but one day I met this woman that was extremely calm even towards those who cursed at her, y'know sexism and shit. I checked her matches and even with 4 duelist and her (sage or omen don't remember but she mained those two. She's my friend now lol) she would win. Even when she'd lose it would be a close one. So I added her, said I wanted to ask a few things. We talked for about half an hour. She said it's not worth raging to strangers and stuff. Something inside me clicked right there. It's been over a year now and I can't remember a time I raged or flamed anyone in my team/enemy besides one or two blatant cheaters. Even calmed the raging situations and I'm dead serious, those throwing flame thrower jetts even started to play properly after a few rounds. All I did was staying calm and playing as a normal being.

Oh and I'm ascendant/immortal now in a worse PC (I burnt my gpu)

I also want to play 5 stack, duo and all. But I just realized I have no friends. Like really, There are some people who I can maybe refer as friends and in reality I don't have any friends. I am realizing it now. I am solo queueing in valorant for more than a year now.

Playing with friends is always fun but if you have a nice energy with your teammates you can easly enjoy the solo queue

I hate solo queue because of toxic teamates but i hate queued with people because i'm scared to being bad and other things so i only do solo queue

I love to solo que because it gives me a chance to meet new people in a way im comfortable with (Im way too awkward in real life) but toxic people sometimes ruin the experience

I actually find having a 5 stack or 3 stack really annoying. If you wanted to take a break, you would have to tell them and they would have to wait and basically it’s like doing stuff knowing someone is waiting for you getting madder by the minute.

The most infuriating things about SoloQ are the throwers and people that don't want to talk. It's hard to take the "it's not your teammates it's you" advice seriously when half the time my teammates are sitting in a corner nading themselves so they can lower their rank to smurf or the people that go marshal and shotgun only with the excuse of "it's 'x rank' bro chill out", and then you somehow get unlucky by getting 4 teammates that don't want to talk in a game where talking is basically a necessity.

The problem I have is with the toxicity in Mumbai servers. When I solo queue, alot of my teammates are duos or trios and they all just verbally abuse everyone. That's the reason I play with a 3stack or 5stack
