Teachers protest school violence at CCSD school board meeting

The National Education Association of Southern Nevada protested what they called a poor response from district officials to violent incidents in CCSD schools.

Good for the teachers sticking up for themselves. It's the administrators and school board that have totally destroyed the county's education system.

Well that’s pretty ironic but mostly ridiculous. The teacher don’t do a thing to help combat the violence. In fact, I had to change my sons school 2 years ago because his teacher was physically abusing, verbally, and emotionally abusing him. She’s still employed with zero discipline. We had contact the school a crazy amount of time just for them to do NOTHING. We have a folder full of pictures of bruises and abrasions all over my son. We had to put him into counseling over the trauma he was put through. 2 days ago a student in the gym rubbed a tennis ball all over his private parts and hit my son in the face with it and also hit another student. The little pos didn’t get in trouble. The only one who did was the other little boy for yelling at him to stop hitting him. My son is also special needs(AITD, Autism, Epilepsy, and osteosarcoma) So I’d say those teachers can step down off their soapbox and make an attempt to stop the violence before they act all holier than thou and “protest.”

The teachers made a huge mistake by showing up last Tuesday to class.

My kids are pissed at me because I put them in private school over spring break.

No more CCSD violence in there lives!
