We're in a strange middle ground inbetween parents being parents and the government increasing control over children and their parenting. We didn't have problems of this magnitude when parents were allowed to parent their kids. UK is fkd!

Teachers in the UK used to use a belt or a cane to keep the kids in order....how times have changed.

Yet my mum is threatened with social services for refusing to send my shy, bullied little sister in to school! If professional grown men and women are scared then no wonder my 11 yr old sister is!

I went to this school 10 years ago and would get bullied, punched kicked etc in the classroom and most teachers wouldnt do anything about it. Well look what the pure incompetence has lead to!

Good luck to them, though I think the roots of this problem are in the home, in parents who treat their offspring like their mates rather than their children .

I wonder why 🤔🤔🤔🤔maybe it’s because of all this weak teaching that’s schools do now. I’m 24 and I left school at 16. No we didn’t get the cane or anything that’s way older than me… but when we was bad we got a real punishment like cleaning the balls after PE even tho you wasn’t using the balls… now when kids act up they get a lil Tyler time out outside the classroom… what’s one place most kids don’t want to be… in a classroom

I use to go there and it was one if the worse mistakes I made, and screwd me over in my GCSEs, I was constantly bullied and nothing was done, teachers never cared and didn’t do anything to sort it out, it only did when a fellow student stabbed me on the bus and got my beaten up for no reason

Being of service in the modern age just isn't worth it. I was in education, my partner in Healthcare. We both left permanently and live happily in a cabin in the woods, far from people, working minimum wage jobs online. We make a quarter of the amount of money but we've multiplied our happiness and safety by infinity.
