Happened to me about a year ago. After about 10 days of feeling like I was tipping over, I went to the doctor. He walked me through this maneuver and i was fine. It happed again about 6 months later so i did the exercise at home. I must have forgotten a step because it did get better, but was still wobbly for a couple of days. Just woke up with it again. Ill be using the epply maneuver again. Im glad it's this easy and doesn't require a doctor bill.

When you’re trying to sleep with this, put your leg on the floor so your brain thinks you’re standing on a firm floor. xxx

Last night I was trying to sleep on my right side and I felt like I was spinning in my bed. It went away after about five minutes. I tried to turn it into a positive feeling. When I rolled onto my back it stopped. I have trouble keeping balance when I walk as well. I’m worried.

This happened to me about a month ago and the dizziness, vertigo, nausea, and vomiting was so violent that while I was at my doctor's office for something else she had to call an ambulance because I could not drive home. The ER tested me for heart attack, stroke, brain tumor and all of the exotic crap but I had none of those things. It came on because I shook my head kinda quickly because the wind was blowing real hard out in my yard while I was putting my car away in the garage and I went in the house and all of a sudden the whole room started to spin and I stared to throw up violently. Horrible experience. Thank god I had insurance because the ambulance cost over $2, 000 -

I'm newly diagnosed with this condition and ENT specialist prescribed for me sintenl and cinnarizine and told me to do exercise of turning Mt head slowly both side 15 times and hopefully all these things will work 🤷‍♀️

So this Morning I was getting ready for basketball practice; I stood up and all of a sudden the room was spinning uncontrollably. My body began to sweat and I couldn't keep my balance, I got nauseous and felt like throwing up. I had to sit down for 20 minutes but I still felt horrible. I called my teammate to translate to my Russian physio what I was feeling. She hooked me up to IV's but nothing worked. After watching videos and reading everyone's comments, this is my problem 100%. This feeling is so scary. I never want to feel like this again.

When I had it, it was so difficult to open my jaw thus making it hard for me to eat. Once I did the maneuver, the pain in the jaw/ear instantly went away and I was able to open and close my jaw with ease. I felt like a boulder lifted off my chest

It can also be caused just for having moved too fast. Happened to me twice simply after getting up from bed and lying down again twice and apparently doing it too fast. The first time it happened I almost started hyperventilating cause I didn't know what the hell was going on! Since then I avoid anything that might induce it again and I'm careful not to lie down too fast.

I’m usually ok until I turn in bed, then I get a really bad dizzy spell that lasts about a minute. It’s preventing me from sleeping

You need the Epley maneuver. This dizziness is common, don’t freak out, just a series of head movements in a pattern will fix it.

When I lay down it feels like I’m a boat, slowly and gently rocking back and forward. Also when I close my eyes to try and sleep everything starts spinning.
And right now my sister hit me with a pillow on my head and when I opened my eyes everything was spinning like I just got off a Merry-go-round (I’m sorry if I misspelled that) and I was out of balance. It didn’t go away for a couple of minutes, but I always feel slightly out of balance and dizzy (dizzy is the best way I can describe it. And I’m not sure how to describe the horrible fear whenever it gets really bad.)

I only get dizzy if I move my head fast or if I put my head in a certain position or stand up fast and my blood test came back perfect so I think it’s this

I'm lucky I never vomit. I have had this when I was 18 and now again when I'm 27. You lay down or to one side or too far back and the world is spinning but it's just your head thinking it is. What helps me is remembering you and the world are not really spinning when your head says it is. Focus on your belly and gravity to not focus on the rapidly spinning room you're in. To help with the dizziness.
