Ah BREXIT sweet Brexit, honestly - in spite of this long drawn out Brexit Drama, I'm actually fond it's all back in the limelight again -

Refreshing distraction from all the mass extinction talk of months and months.

I've actually feel 4 years younger.

The 'level playing field' is primarily about the customs union, they dont want us cutting our tarrifs on goods from the rest of the world, imposing these tarrifs makes goods much more expensive for the UK population and our importers of raw materials for manufacturing. If we reduce tarrifs all of a sudden we have a competitive advantage in multiple areas, the French are worried about Agricultural goods, the Germans about industrial finished goods etc, meanwhile EU growth has been stunted for years whilst the rest of the world grows rapidly. Essentially we're shackling ourselves to French and German interests. Dont mention that though Sky or the political agenda that underpins the European project just talk about Standards which is a non-issue, we do and will meet the standards required for any market we sell into.

Level Plainfield is where the EU will still regulate the UK and stop or penalise the UK for doing better. Why should we accept that?

Follow EU rules and reg’s? Well, I worked in packaging and food hygiene for 40 yrs. UK has by far the toughest packaging reg’s and factory hygiene reg’s that the EU has to follow. Also, non European suppliers volunteer to submit to these reg’s too, otherwise they do not sell here. Do not be misled .... we are already the best. Nothing to follow the EU for, we are top already. No deal please, and let the EU decay. Poland and Hungary are next to leave. 🇬🇧

The treaties shall cease to apply on December 31st 11 PM. After that, if the UK still wants a free trade deal, these are our terms....
