Howdy folks, we're explaining how to repair your cement concrete foundation and existing stucco after installing new pavers or concrete in your driveway.
Note that you can use a strong cement plaster for everything; however, there are PSI strength differences between cement mortars and stucco.
FYI, We used the "Cement-All," for the corner and the "Stucco patch," for the stucco patch.
Both of these products are sold at Home Depot and Lowes.
FYI, What is stucco? It's usually Portland cement mixed with sand. Whats Concrete? It's usually Portland cement mixed with rocks. What's Cement? Cement is the binder, or you can call it an "adhesive or additive" that binds the materials. Just saying.
If you want fast-setting stucco, buy "Rapid Set Stucco" at Lowe's or Home Depot. It has 16/20 sand or what is known as heavy sand.
If you want fast-setting stucco with finer sand, I'd recommend Super High Yield Mortar, "Greencore USA," also sold at Home Depot.
In the two videos below, we are using finer sand or aggregate.
