HP No Power FIXED
Показать описание
HP no power repair for YouTube Shorts. I was able to change the DC Jack without the need for any motherboard repair.
This HP ProBook 450 came to me from one of my clients with no power. Laptop wouldn't boot or charge while plugged in and the battery wasn't holding a charge either. Basically dead on arrival. When plugging it in with the original charger I couldn't get it to boot or even symbolize that it was in fact charging the battery or that the laptop was recognizing any power from the DC jack. The power input port seemed very loose so I contacted the client to get some more information on this computer. Apparently they were using the computer on the couch while plugged in and she told me it was on her lap. One of her kids jumped on her and bumped the computer. 😟
After trying everything I could think of I decided to order a new DC jack for HP and change the power input port on this laptop and see if I could bring some life back into it. It was a bit of a process to replace the current defective DC jack with a new one but once I finally did and plugged it in, EUREKA! 🙌 I got the laptop to recognize power and power on to desktop.
As good practice and a great preventative measure, always charge your laptop on a stable surface in a safe location. Try to choose a table of area in your home of office that is low traffic and try to avoid moving the computer until it is fully charged. This will prevent possible damage that may occur to the charging port of your laptop. The DC jack on most laptop computers is very delicate and can be damaged easily if it encounters pressure or impact while charging or plugged in. 💯
An additional tip is to always charge to full and allow computer to fully discharge before charging again. This method of charge cycling will allow to the cells within the battery to fully expand when new and over time help the computer's battery health to maintain and hold a proper charge for a longer period of time and give you an all in all better experience in battery life and charge capacity for years to come. 🙏😁💪
