I got the Carpuride 103 (non pro), I have it mounted above my GX470's climate control screen. I compared the non-intrusive to intrusive head units, I'm saving about $1k. I have AUX hardwired and I love this unit.

What's the news with the budget friendly one? Can we still just Bluetooth audio? Play the music through the regular system in the car and still use CarPlay or no? I don't know if that makes any sense or not

Atoto, joying, or teyes are my fave. Xtrons and a few others have some options as long as they are 6 or 8gb of ram. That's a must.

W701 pro is $200 dollars right now… you can get an iPad 9th gen for $250. Don’t you think it would be a better investment to buy the iPad which has Better response time and 3 inches bigger? Don’t need to get celular since you can use personal hot spot and also you can charge it with the same apple charger you have for your phone. Thoughts? I can also remove iPad and take it inside my house

Did you maybe notice this unit squashing circle icons (like, squashing everything, but it's noticeable on circles)? Like in Maps or something - my friend got motorcycle unit and it seems like that's the case. It also looks like this W701 (and all units except for the huge one you tested in previous video) has this odd resolution of 1024x600 which is not native for neither Apple Carplay nor Android Auto.


The huge one, W103 probably (since mfr never said this, but it looks like that from what chinese markets are selling as for IPS screens) has 1920x720 which is listed as one of Apple's native screen resolutions.

Maybe you still have both units and could show comparison?
