Honestly if I lived near you I would volunteer my time to follow you around picking up after you and composting it just to watch you working your magic.

This makes me feel better. I been watching your videos Peter for a while. I started growing my own maple and finally chopped it today. It was about 5 ft tall. But it's trunk was very thin and it needed to be forced to make lowers. So know it's about 18 inches maybe 2 ft.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I love how you just go in there and prune with no hesitation at all !It takes me all day just to decide what branch to take .

I love how you show both the good and bad of growing trees for bonsai... It's not all rainbows and sunshine. It's WORK! I would love to spend just one day walking through your "growing fields." You give me inspiration and understanding of how to "make bonsai." Thank you, Peter...

I love watching all peters’ tree videos! He tells it like it is and watching him trim all the branches is like meditation to me. He keeps the techniques simple and easy to understand.

I go to local nurseries and occasionally find a large tree I want to bonsai. I've asked the staff for pruners to shorten the trunk so it will fit in my car. You should see the looks on their faces! They've finally got use to me but I still shock new staff from time to time.

Wonderful to have an opportunity to experience an artist at work and to have him verbalise the thought process so honestly.
