How to remove Duplicate IPv4 Address which causes IP Address conflict on Windows

'IPconfig' command shows that my Network connection has Duplicate IPv4 Address along with the preferred.
IPv4 Address........................192.168.0.169(Preferred)
IPv4 Address........................192.168.0.167(Duplicate)
Windows has detected an IP address conflict. Another computer on the network has the same IP address as your computer. That's why ipconfig command indicate the IP as Duplicate Address.
How to remove duplicate IPv4 Address: Open Ethernet or Wireless Network Connection properties Window. Double click 'Internet Protocol Version(TCP/IPv4), switch to general tab, open Advanced TCP/IP settings, switch to IP settings tab where you can remove the duplicate IPv4 address which causes Network error or IP address conflict.

0:09 Thank you! Spent 2 hours trying to figure out why I was getting a duplicate IPv4 address on one of 4 new computers. Soon as I read this I realized one of the old computers was still on the network. Unplug the old machine and everything is now working fine.
