No this is not for all HP 15 series this shows the replacement of the simplest keyboard to replace in a hp laptop there is. The HP15 ( 15-cc, 15-cs, 15-cr) laptops are exponentially harder because there is a grid in-between the keys and you have to replace it from the Backside of that grid "Shell". it basically is the first part in the assembly of the whole laptop and everything has to be removed before it can be replaced.

Good Video! Next time show the "Most Important thing" that being (I almost missed it) is the Black Motherboard Release lever! You mentioned it but spent more time unwrapping it than the really important design issue of that "Keyboard Release" clip. Still your's was the best I found! Thanks!!!

Wow, thanks, I had no idea it was so simple. i can do this, easy. You got anything on USB ports for this model? MY USBs both failed and won't send any data, and the 6, 7, y, u, h and n keys all failed within a week. The ports still charge, but nothing registers when you plug it in. I've tried updating and reinstalling all the drivers, but it doesn't work, so I guess it's hardware. I don't know if it makes sense for both to fail together like that, but new drivers doesn't seem to help.

I think I broke it. I removed a half working keyboard, then tried to put it back in and then it was 0% working. Then I tried snapping in a braNd new keyboard. Still 0% wOrking
