This timelapse footage tweeted by NWS Kansas City on December 22 shows the temperature dropping from 33.1°F to 8.8°F in just 4 ½ hours as a cold front moved through the area.

Accompanying the video, NWS Kansas City tweeted, ‘We thought it would be fun to timelapse the temperatures crashing behind the front last night. As of 6:45 am, the temperature here at the office was 2°. Wind chills are ranging from -25° to -15°. Bundle up before heading out this morning and be prepared for slick roads.’
