I am watching from my ASUS ROG Strix G17 and I got to tell you that it was the best Laptop that I ever got in my life. Very suitable for esports, also where it has the same specs, except my GPU, in which it is an RTX 2060. The speakers are great, and it sounds like you are playing music in your car. It ran games over 100fps at high-ultra settings, but the only thing that disappoints me was the battery, it lasted over 3 hours instead of 5.

Been using the laptop for a couple of months now . I`ve never encountered the issues you claim to have. The laptop is actually really not noisy when on silent mode and performance mode hardly increases the loudness. Yes its RGB and screams gaming laptop, because it is a gaming laptop. That`s the whole point of it :D You sound kinda biased against it TBH. Also you can undervolt it by .8 in the BIOS( it`s really stupid proof it tell you with BIG letters what to do and what not to). Also you never mention that you can actually set up the fan speeds yourself so they don`t ramp up so much on low temps. yes yes, ryzen better than Intel, we all know that, but for 1500 you get a solid setup that will last you at least for the next 5 years with all the latest gen chips inside.

I have the same laptop. I use it daily for graphic design and cad. I get 7 hours of use on it with no rgb, full brightness. Plus it is not intel's problem. I undervolted my g712 and its a beast. Temps not over then 70c and no fan noise on silent mode running solidworks.

Man's wrong. I'm looking to buy this thing, It's apparently one of the top rated gaming laptops in the world and there are so many reviews saying it is an amazing laptop. Plus it's Asus, they are very good. And how is that 14 inch one he mentioned at the beginning better, it's specs were worse and it was a 14 inch. The one I'm looking at has a Rysen 7 and it is bout the same cost. Plus when you buy a Gaming laptop, especially with spec like this, battery life is not EVER something to expect to be good. This guys expectations surpass anything of reality. Not to mention that a laptop screen closes on you for literally every laptop when it's that low, and who ever has it that low. Not to mention his thought on the speakers. no one ever uses the speaker especially on any laptop (cause there never that great) to game. And why would one game like he is comparing in a place other that on a desk. Who in there right mind would game or use this on there lap. The heat problem can be healed a tad by a notebook cooler (Cooler Master has the really good ones). I got triggered by this guys ideology, sorry. This guy is not the brightest guy

I just got this laptop 2 weeks ago and its amazing... so what the fans are a tab loud, I plug my audio for games to my stereo. The graphics card is a beast! This dude in the video is such a hater

i have the G15 with RTX2070 aswell, ur problem with the speakers being quiet is because you probably didnt download the speaker driver on the asus website. i had the same problem and this made the speakers about 3 times louder :O my only "problem" i have now is that i have some backlight bleed in the corners but i have been told its pretty normal. other then that i love every bit of it

Not to sure what this guy is on about, but I too own this laptop and it's just a BEAST. And ngl, i love the lights on the keyboard -very practical for playing in the dark. You can change the fan settings and lights too.

I got a laptop for school just for animating and got heccing lucky and got this beut! Just totally in love with it :))
