I didn't have a phone at all while I was a teenager. This forced me to live in my own head constantly...
I'm heartily sick of my own thoughts to be honest...
But I was in an unusual situation and since I've had a phone I see how easy it is to pick it up whenever I feel bored... I think I have a fairly good balance at the moment.
