I don't do anything remotely close to repairing HVAC systems, but I will still sit here and watch an hour long video about him fixing one. For some reason, I find these videos entertaining.

When I did PTACs, we would set the temp on the thermostat. Then squeeze the bulb in the middle with a channel lock till it clicks. That will actually get you by for a while.
As always, we had plans to go back with the correct part. We sometimes forget, or the customer would say it's fine and not want the part. The would last for years.

I enjoy watching all of your videos, I get to learn a lot, I get the impression that I am in a school learning or actually doing it on a job. Keep these videos coming I enjoy watching all of them!

You're absolutely right about ice cream being the ideal indicator of freezer problems. It's one of the first food products to melt, and if it re-freezes it's blatantly obvious, because all the aeration of the ice cream is lost - it becomes a solid lump at the bottom, and the carton will have at least 2/3 empty space.

I always make it to the end because I love learning new trades and you have given me so much knowledge about refrigeration equipment and give me the courage to do my own thing and be better in my life. It gives me the will to live and keep going. Thank you so much for your content and I always watch to the end.

You may not be the best service tech out there but you make sure that you and your employees take the time you need to do the best job you can given the situation and what the customer wants to pay for. And that is much appreciated!

These units in/near the desert really do take a beating. That plus company policy and the "human" factor sure does keep you supplied with endless puzzles for us to watch you solve.

Thank you for the video! I have also noticed that the A19 Penn mechanical controls are not accurate, sometimes even new out of the box. I have noticed that the Penn A19 with the remote bulb for some reason have the issue far more than the Penn A19 with the fixed bulb. I prefer the ones with the fixed bulb far more than the remote bulb, just my two cents.

As an F&B operations mgr, have learned it is better to run out of a flavor of ice cream than risk the loss of multiple tubs if the walk in goes above temp.

Preventative maintenance. Don’t put the bean counters or incompetent managers in charge of equipment maintenance.
I worked at a place where the vent hood for the kitchen was serviced, made a terrible noise, and it took SIX MONTHS for them to discover the fan had been installed backwards😳🤬🙃
