I've seen this truck many times over the years on Vancouver Island and it truly is in a class of its own. Nice video, the loader operator made it easy! My uncle owned a Hayes back in the 70s. It was a good well built truck.

Beautiful footage. The first diesel I drove (back in 1977) was a "Clipper", and a Grizzly hood ornament sits on my mantlepiece.

I've seen double front axles before on large dump trucks, but never on a self loading log truck.
