Just got the polar H9 HRM. Love it. Def more accurate than the watch. It’s common sense, it’s closer to your heart than the watch is.

So far, Garmin, ok. I've used Morpheus as well. Died after 4 months. Polar H10 is great as well. No issues at all.

Can you watch you HR levels in the phone app while you’re actively using the HR strap?

Just make sure you select it as an external HRM in your watch settings under sensors.

Is the chest strap more accurate in reading heart rate during your runs. Relative to your effort compared to the watch only? I notice with the watch theres some unusual spikes that doesnt really feel like it reflects the feeling/effort.

Using this strap, do I need to start the activity by pressing a button? Or when I start the activity, the strap detects it and starts an activity automatically?

Stupid question: I just ordered the garmin hrm dual. When I go to go for a run and use the hrm dual during the run and it’s connected to my watch, is the heart rate it shows on my watch coming from the hrm dual? Always just used wrist hrm but just recently learned how they aren’t as accurate.
