The Inkigayo Sandwich is like a helping hand for idols to date or befriend each other.
But sometimes the managers of the groups would sometimes they would take the piece of paper inside the plastic wrap. This usually happens with idols who have ultimate popularity or are the main target of dispatch and other media outlets ( im not defaming any idols ).

BTS have also eaten Inkigayo Sandwich back when they were rookies but ever since then we haven't got a video of them eating Inkigayo sandwich same goes to other idols aswell. There are a lot and I mean a lot of netizens out there who claim that Hybe doesn't show a lot of the behind the scenes from BTS' performance especially on Inkigayo because if 1 of the BTS member is caught eating an Inkigayo sandwich then the fans and antis will suspect them of dating and their career could be in danger. Honestly the dating thing in the kpop industry is absolutely unbelievable. Fans are forgetting the fact that their idols are humans as well.

as a kpop fan since 2009 i can confirm that the dating ban is just a cover there is no actual ban.. all idols that said they were banned ended up confessing later all their dating all idols date. All of them... Ikon bobby once said he is not allowed to meet Blackpink then later on another interview he would say stories of how close he is to lisa. and there were videos of them messing around.

It sucks that they are supervised by their managers, but honestly, I feel like it just makes it more fun. I wished the guy didn't say anything about the sandwiches, but I'm sure the idols will find another way to exchange phone numbers. I actually went to a summer camp once and it was so much fun talking about who likes who and who they find attractive. We had this tradition that if someone liked someone else they would slip a spoon into their pocket. This guy slipped a spoon into my coat and I was so gigglish and childish. Hah fun times.
