QLED vs OLED gaming test with PS4 Pro

Gaming test between the Samsung Q90r and the LG B8 OLED using a Playstatipn 4 Pro

Games tested are Call Of Duty WW2 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Both TV's picture settings were factory reset and all tests were carried out in a home environment.

I accidentally stumbled on to your channel when trying to figure out a new TV as my old one broke down. Gotta say I love the more "average consumerish" vibe, which is way more relatable than the videos done in stores or in studios. And by that I mean you focus on the stuff that actually matters to us, average consumers, when picking out an expensive piece of tech like TV's which last hopefully many years. I just bought my first oled tv and I'm glad I did. I was worried about the oled not being bright enough but to my surprise its plenty bright for my living room even with the blinds open and the sun shining in the room. Great job on the videos they really helped in my decision on purchasing my new tv.

Saw this coming a mile off, and tbf you gave the Q90 every chance to succeed by playing in a light room, having it above the OLED and limited dark scenes.

This shows that the OLED is more than capable in a light room, and how good the viewing angles are.

The call of duty footage looked immense compared to the Q90.

For your next video, how about the same test again but in the dark? It's quite hard to compare OLED & QLED via camera (but obvious when directly Infront), I know the blooming and hazyness you specifically mention will stand out clearer for most viewers, especially with the Q90 in "Game mode".

Keep up the good work, it's fun having QLED & OLED next to each other for comparison.

The OLED looks like it has HDR and the QLED looks like it’s without HDR
