Thank You for a great review. I have owned most Barbour wax jacket models since the mid 1980's, but the Beacon and the Lutz are new to me so I had some difficulties in choosing between them. You helped me to choose the Lutz. In my humble opinion it is a much more refined look for a middle aged man than the Beacon. The lutz will be my new autumn jacket. Once again Thank You.

Very interesting jacket. I never heard of this type of material. I might give it a try especially this fall.

I love my Lutz. It fits perfectly. but the same size jacket in the Beacon style is much tighter. I usually take a medium in the USA but a medium in the Beacon jacket is not at all the same fit as the medium in the Lutz jacket.

IS THI S the quilted version (winter lutz) or the standard with tartan inside rather than quilting
