I don't think thid is coincidence my daughter diabetes was 400 when she tested after reaching home from work LAST NIGHT , my sister call and said boiled the okra put a pinch of salt and let her drink it within little over an hour it went down to 144. That's awesome , the first think saw as i scrolling through YouTube tonight is DR MANDEL VIDEO , ❤ 😍

This is a special veg in a typical Jamaican diet. We use it in steam fish, in steam veggies like cabbage and we also use it to make something that's call oakra punch which is like a smoothie. We also soak it in coconut water with something that we call tuna which is like a cactus plant which is real good

My family had a garden and grew okra when I was a child. I love it pickled, stewed, raw in salad, and especially fried in butter or bacon grease. I didn’t eat it fried for years after going keto because of the breading, but discovered it fries up fine without the breading! Will be planting it this summer!

I love okra very much! We call it 'ladies' fingers' here. It has a tender smooth skin. We used to grow okra in our home garden using organic fertilizer made using cow dung. Steamed/boiled okra is something I like to have for supper or dinner. Thanks very much, Dr Mandell!
