i love the implication that the child got beheaded by a guillotine made entirely of candy, which leaves me wondering why Willy even had one

"We tried to get there but guillotine's haste" is such a cool line cuz it creates so much atmosphere. Like you can imagine Wonka trying to stop the kid but before he can finish his sentence, its cut off by the snap of the guillotene and you can see the oompa loompa's almost moving to try and physically stop the kid but realizing it was too late.

And then they have to do their job of singing an ode in front of the parent to comemorate the death of their child.

You know how sometimes people are so good at their craft that makes near perfection look effortless? And with improv it makes people say it's scripted ? I cannot wrap my head around that level of skill. But I have seen it in other fields too and it's a thing, rare but possible, and Jess has had more than one moment like this and I am not even actively following her work.
