This series is what got me into Marvel and their comic books as a kid. My mom used to take me and my sisters and brothers to the library every week and they had X Men comics and books. The librarian got to know us very well and she knew what I would be looking for when I came. She started looking into where I could get more books and comics for the library when I came, or if I'd end up reading everything they had there in the library. And just as she as she predicted, I read all they had and I came jn one day and she reluctantly told me that they didn't have anymore Marvel comics or books and I read them all. My lil kid heart broke, lmao. But she told my mom where there was a comic book store and they became the supplier of my drugs for my addiction. I'd read them when the show would go off. So many great memories are flooding back in. Just hearing the OGWolverine voice. Don't get me wrong, I loved Hugh's Wolverine but you can't be the original. It's like comparing Chris Brown to Michael Jackson. Or Bruno Mars to Freddy Mercury. It's just blasphemous, lbvs.

Man, it's unbelievably good to hear this man as Logan again. No one else has ever come close. Welcome back, sir. My biggest hope for this series is that the voice direction leans more toward naturalism. X-Men had the best possible voices for the characters, but voice acting in the 90s tended to be broad and operatic. I'd be blown away to hear Cal giving a more understated performance this time. And, er, Storm.
