White Rodgers thermostat is stuck on hold. Help!

JustAnswer Customer: My White-Rodgers thermostat is stuck in the HOLD position.
JustAnswer Customer: I removed the batteries, and turned the power off to the house, but it is still stuck.
JustAnswer Customer: Is there a RESET procedure for this device?
JustAnswer Customer: There is no model number on the case, but I will describe it.
JustAnswer Customer: White, with an LCD readout in the top left, up and down buttons to the right of the LCD.
JustAnswer Customer: TIME, PRGM, RUN, HOLD buttons directly below the LCD.
JustAnswer Customer: To the right of those buttons are the slide-switches for the FAN and SYSTEM.
