My husband's grandfather who was from China, used to talk about 8 people being in a boat when a worldwide flood came. He said there is a Chinese character that shows this. Sadly, he shared this with my husband when he was still in elementary and now my husband can't remember the whole story his grandfather shared with him.

A question I always had about the grand canyon, erosion over time theory, if it was from the river over time, then why isn't all rivers in canyons. Like Mississippi. That has been there for a very long time too. But it's not in a canyon. The rivers in my city are not in canyon. We even have an underground river. If erosion happens as said like that, then our city would have collapsed by now.

We do not need long stretched out explanations to get people to think. He needs to point out the bedrock and all the rest is sedimentary layers.

Even if the Colorado River was as high as where the people were standing I don't know how it could actually carve out the Grand Canyon when it's not even nearly as wide as the canyon is when it's not really that far down. I wonder if there could be a computer generated way to see how much the river would actually have carved out as well as how much would have caved in over the years. It's just a thought and also if there could be a computer generated way to see what a flood like God made to see how it would compare to the canyon. I know that it won't be perfected but it could give an idea to what could have happened.

All research says Colorado river starts at la poudre is situated at 10000 feet above sea level not 3000. Could he be mistaken on that ?

Driving through Utah on my way to the Grand Canyon. One thought kept running through my mind. It looked like I was driving on the “sea bed”. It looked like water carved the canyons. I believe there was a Great Flood. God bless everyone

When I was in college, I took a Honors Level Mythology course. All of the older religions/mythologies have a flood story where a family (or small village) survive.
The Earth itself has geological evidence of a large flood.

If you look into it, sea shells are presently on Mt . Everest amd the Himalayan mountains. How did they get way up there? THE GREAT FLOOD!!!!

We dont always need to be at the top of the hill pulling everybody up, sometimes we can be halfway up, pulling others to us and then passing them on to others further up the hill as they progress past us 🙏❤️

I LOVE studying biblical archaeology and there is a fantastic book that my children and I went through called "Brilliant: Made in the Image of God, " by Bruce Malone. I could hardly put it down. "Answers in Genesis" (on youtube) is another fantastic resource, as well as Mike Snavely's seminars on the flood and other topics.

Even if I don’t believe what he said I believe the flood. The Bible hasn’t lied. The Bible reads you as you read it. Scientist have a educated guess. God has a book of what he’s made, facts not studied but created. Sure they can make a story but no one knows all history but 1❤

I loved geography as a student. One of my favourite topics was the natural processes formed the current landscape. This. Makes. 100% sense. Elevation difference. The lack of delta. Kudos to him for doing his research. I actually haven't checked the difference in elevation with the canyon and river but if it is true, the landscape makes 100% sense. It was a flood
