Thats disregarding the fact that one family has remained loyal to a good king who has provided everything, and the rest of the kingdom has openly revolted and disregarded his authority, power and supremacy.

That would be the equivalent.

Noah's flood was so catastrophic it covered the mountain tops and wiped out every breathing land animals.

It was definitely a world wide floor, God said" the end of ALL flesh has come before me" in Genesis 6:13.

Then God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.
— Genesis 6:13

Also in 1 Peter 3:20 it speaks to only 8 souls being saved if you take these two verse you can conclude that it was a world wide flood where in only 8 people made it out. The ones God chose to put on the Ark.

who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water.
— 1 Peter 3:20

In Genesis 6:19 it speaks of bring two of EVER kind of animal. If the flood was local God wouldn't have had Noah gather ever animal as there would be places they could seek refuge, unless it was a world wide flood, which it seems to be pointing too considering these verses.

And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. Of the birds after their kind, and of the animals after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive.
— Genesis 6:19-20

Since we see the obvious effects of a worldwide flood everywhere, I conclude that Noah's flood was a worldwide flood.

The Bible is very clear, the whole earth, so it includes all continents, that is what is said, The Whole Earth ✝️

Noah's flood was worldwide. People had become so wicked that God essentially decided to start over. He saved the only righteous people that were left. (Everyone was invited to believe God and find refuge in the ark, but they chose not to.) The Bible speaks of a worldwide flood.

If the flood wasn’t global then why did God command the building of the ark and saving animals? Couldn’t God just have made the animals migrate somewhere else out of the flood area? If God could get them together at the ark, what was the purpose if they were never really endangered if they simply fled?

Yes, if it wasn't global, then God would have just told Noah and his family ... to move! Like Lot, right?
I mean, Noah had 120 years to build the Ark, so it wouldn't have taken a couple of months to cross the earth to find a place that would have safe from a "local flood."
It had to be and, indeed, WAS, GLOBAL.

Cliff is wrong about this one. In context there’s no way it was localized. If it was localized then Noah had no reason to bring any of the animals. They would’ve lived and reproduce elsewhere, so why bring them other than food? But he brought unclean animals too, so it doesn’t make sense. Also GOD talks about many times “all flesh” throughout that story. This is just not believing what GOD says to pander to the people who say it couldn’t have been the whole world. It was the whole world, period.

The problem with this is how could the flood stay localized even if it was only that part of the world. Because if the mountain tops were covered, how could all that water not spill into the rest of the planet?

I’m shocked. It clearly says every mountain was covered. All who possess the breath of life died.
There’s a documentary called the greatest movie on Noah’s flood ever made.
Extremely interesting.

Or the whole world was one land mass at that time and the flood is what caused the Continental divide

It was the whole world. The whole world was one piece of land until after the flood.

This is an example of not trusting or velieveingwhat the Word says. Every animal was called to go inside due to every mountain being under water. Every mountain, not surrounding mountains.

"water finds its level" is science and logic.. how could such a huge flood that rose on top of mountains on plain terrain unlike today's lands with buildings and barriers, not flow into the oceans and the flooding wouldn't have even happened if it was local.

Multiple culture around the world wrote about the flood at same time.

EWTN Bible
5 The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And the LORD was sorry that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart.
7 So the LORD said, "I will blot out man whom I have created from the face of the ground, man and beast and creeping things and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them."
8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD.
Genesis 6:5-8 RSV-CE

As much as I love what Cliff does I think he sometimes fudges when it comes to macro evolution or how he is saying this here about it not meaning the whole world. We see amplitudes of soil made by tidal waves that are many stories high in America.

In the words of Voddie Baucham “If the flood was localized, then God broke his covenant.” Go ask Japan if God has flooded a localized area after his promise.

Genesis 9:8-11 “8Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: 9“I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you 10and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth. 11I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”

I genuinely believe in basically everything Mr Cliff says about the Bible he has taught me so many things, but I truly strongly disagree with this one.

Hud 11:40
English - Tafsir Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
The beginning of the Flood and Nuh loads Every Creature in Pairs upon the Ship

This was the promise of Allah to Nuh, when the command of Allah came, the rain was continuous and there was a severe storm which did not slacken or subside, as Allah said,
(So We opened the gates of the heaven with water pouring forth. And We caused springs to gush forth from the earth. So the waters (of the heaven and the earth) met for a matter predestined. And We carried him on a (ship) made of planks and nails. Floating under Our Eyes: a reward for him who had been rejected!)54:11-14 In reference to Allah's statement,
﴾وَفَارَ التَّنُّورُ﴿
(and the oven gushed forth.) It is related from Ibn `Abbas that he said, "At-Tannur is the face of the earth." This verse means that the face of the earth became gushing water springs. This continued until the water gushed forth from the Tananir, which are places of fire. Therefore, water even gushed from the places where fire normally would be. This is the opinion of the majority of the Salaf (predecessors) and the scholars of the Khalaf (later generations). At this point, Allah commanded Nuh to select one pair from every kind of creature possessing a soul, and load them on the ship. Some said that this included other creatures as well, such as pairs of plants, male and female. It has also been said that the first of the birds to enter the ship was the parrot, and the last of the animals to enter was the donkey. Concerning Allah's statement,
﴾وَأَهْلَكَ إِلاَّ مَن سَبَقَ عَلَيْهِ الْقَوْلُ﴿
(and your family -- except him against whom the Word has already gone forth) This means, "Load your family upon the ship." This is referring to the members of his household and his relatives, except him against whom the Word has already gone forth, for they did not believe in Allah. Among them was the son of Nuh, Yam, who went in hermitage. Among them was the wife of Nuh who was a disbeliever in Allah and His Messenger. Concerning Allah's statement,
﴾وَمَنْ ءَامَنَ﴿
(and those who believe.) from your people.
﴾وَمَآ ءَامَنَ مَعَهُ إِلاَّ قَلِيلٌ﴿
(And none believed with him, except a few.) This means that only a very small number believed, even after the long period of time that he (Nuh) was among them -- nine hundred and fifty years. It is reported from Ibn `Abbas that he said, "They were eighty people including their women."
