Dr. Youn is one of my favorite YouTube doctors. I have licorice root and it only took about a week to start to see a difference as compared to No difference on three years of a $100 retinoid cream from my doctor. I just put mine on a small makeup brush because my age spots are next to my eyes and I actually use a little bit of the licorice root to just fill in my eyebrows before I do my make up too because it’s the perfect color. Lol... maybe that’s bad.

In India we get it in the form of wood. we make a powder of it mix with fullers earth, wild turmeric and some yogurt or raw milk or lemon juice and make a paste. apply this paste on hyper pigmented spots. leave it for an hour and wipe it with a damp towel. your face may look a little yellow from the turmeric but it fades away in a few hours. If applied atleast twice a week, the spots will vanish in about 2-3 months. Licorice is also boiled in water and had as tea to sooth throat irritations.

Licorice root. Week 8 here : its noticeably STARTING to fade . It is by no means GONE at 8 weeks. Its unpleasant and sticky and messy to use. Use normal hydroquinone fade cream
