I got one of the Melif portable battery powered soldering irons, even before you started reviewing Melif tools, and it's a treat. Sits on a Makita battery and heats instantly. Good stuff. I would have been much more confident in my purchase if I had seen this first. They seem to be pretty class all around.

bit of a tip with rotovators like that where they block up with grass, take one of the tines off and put on the other side it effectively reverses the direction and makes the grass fall off

I got the same drill for 25€. I think its amazing for the price and I cannot justify the price of a real Makita for my DIY use at home and in the shop.
At work we have Hilti and Bosch and honestly for 25€ here in Germany the Mellif drill comes surprisingly close in terms of fit and finish.
Might just buy a second one since they are this cheap and mine has held up well so far.

The only downside I found is that sometimes the low gear doesnt quite mesh and grinds a bit, ususally flipping the gear selector back and forth fixes that and the gear will mesh in properly.
Has to do something with the selector maybe it just doesnt have enough travel or throw I will look into that maybe that can be adressed easily.

I really do love the minimalist design of these. Newer tools add so much detail to the casing which makes them look like transformer toys but this is classy. Kind of reminds me of the old Metabo.

Thanks for the extensive presentation, It's always good to know what low cost brands are actually worth buying.
As a personal opinion I'd say they need to add a lighter battery option for the drill, if you work primarily with soft materials you don't really need 4Ah and the overall weight of the tool can influence both precision and handling comfort.

The drill for 20EUR is a really good deal, especially for people that needs it maybe 3 times per year or maybe in the garden. Nice.

Dean that tiller you put through its pace especially with there own brand of battery aswell. looks great and very powerful. It would be great to see you tear it down in a video when you get a chance, Also your little one helping in the garden is just what family is about.

Thanks for the complete breakdown and evaluation of the drill. It's very impressive for a cheap and cheerful. It must not be available over here in the states yet.

Great video as always! And nice little tiller.
How long it would run on a fully charged 4Ah battery?
Should I sharpen tiles on my gasoline tiller or it doesn’t matter at all?

That tiller would be a great idea for an allotment, no mains needed and will turn the veg patches well
