using WH1000XM4 over the ear headphones from sony, since a year and they have been amazing so far. battery life is still on point, sound signature, multiple device connectivity, customisation from app. Each and everything makes me happier for choosing this product. I use it on daily basis and they have been running good so far.

The important feature apart from sound quality is the dedicated app compatibility for both Android and iOS. Sony is the best at it.

Still using WF 1000 XM3 since 2020 & loving them. Not the most comfortable or compact. Has the worst mic for calls, decent battery life. But EXCELLENT Noise cancellation & Sound quality.

Great video! If i may give a suggestion, please use a light background table or maybe use a lighter colour sheet of paper for darker/colored products as it would make the product pop out and more details would be visible. Right now that tan leather kind of backdrop affects the legibility. Also little bright lights on product shots please.

Sorry for the correction. I am using xm4. It has multiple connectivity. You can connect to 2 devices at the same time. It was not there in the beginning, but Sony introduced that by a software update.

I've been using these beauties (WF-1000 XM5 TWS) since a couple of weeks and I'm absolutely loving them. It took some time for me to adjust to the memory foam buds, but they are super comfortable than the regular silicon buds. Music and Call quality is great. The App has a lot of options to customise the sound profile. There's some room for improvement in noise cancellation though in comparison with Bose QC Ultra earbuds.
Overall, a great product from Sony!!

I own the XM4s and for me personally the design of the buds itself is more premium and distinct and captures attention whereas the XM5s are just too small not noticeable like people actually ask me which earphones are these that I am wearing

I have been watching your content since a very long time and I remember you being one of the earliest reviewers out there in India, and since your content was in English, it was very helpful for me, cuz I'm from Bangalore. Still I think you're just way better than everyone one else out there and hope you keep making some awesome videos for as long time. You tell as it is and you don't care about brand or anything, if it's good, you tell it us good or if it's not, you just used to not care at all.
I still remember way early when I wanted to buy a wired earphones and I was in school and I didn't want anything expensive, but I loved listening to great music and I wanted great earphones with a priority for sound quality more than anything. So I bought JBL C1001si, a total of 3 times, once I lost, once the left earphones stopped working and now I have one more which I have been using since more than three years ago and it works great even though it has started to wear out a bit, and honestly it is still one of the best sounding earphones ever made, and I thank JBL for making it and you for recommending it. I have listened to same audio in Airpods pro 2 and compared just the sound quality aspect of it with the C1001si and honestly, seldom it is just way better and it just costs 600-700 bucks.
Thank you for all that you have done over the years and you address issues in the tech world like no others and for me, you're the OG!

Hi Ranjit, massive props to you for your work. Have been watching your videos for over 10 years now. I had a question regarding one of the points you made regarding the microphone quality. I've recently bought these earbuds, they work great, but during calls, people complain about the ambient noises. They say they can hear a lot of ambient noise. On the contrary, you said in the video the complete opposite of it. Could you please let me know what settings you had used? Or maybe what I might be doing wrong?

Hey Ranjit, I really like the content you create. One small request I wanted to make was if the table top being used is of a lighter colour the product would be better. Though I acknowledge that I was viewing the video dead in the night on low brightness.

I have 2 questions:

1. Is it just the equalizer or does each and every setting tweaked in the app gets stored inside the TWS?

2. Does it work as well with desktop/laptop (particularly Windows) as it does with phones? Does each functionality: sound quality, latency, microphone, everything else, work as expected?
(I think there's not a dedicated app for Sony TWS on Windows but I hope that I can just change settings using the phone app and everything will be working fine on PC as well. If I'm buying such an expensive TWS I'm ofc gonna be using it on my PC to experience that beautiful sound and ANC and stuff. Also, the dual connectivity feature makes it tempting to use it with a combination of phone and laptop.
