Amazing video! I found your channel recently because I'm learning French but this video hits home in other ways. I am in my 40s; the first time I left the US to live abroad was in my 20s. Since then, I have lived more years abroad in my adult life than in the US. I am about to move to another country I've never been to for work after living in the US in the past 2 years. I am super excited for this new move, just as I am every time I embark on a new location and adventure. As you said, moving to a new environment and having to deal with new and sometimes challenging situations help create growth and deep self-awareness. I find the process actually necessary for my personal development, no matter how many times I've done it. I just want to thank you for making this video. It is personally a dream of mine to be able to study in France, and to possibly even live there for the rest of my life. My parents are constantly pressuring me to be the very best and to do what they expect me to do. But I have decided that I want to do what I expect of myself. I want to live out a life that I will actually be happy in and enjoy. I am prepared to take the risky, less traveled road for the ultimate goal of achieving what I want out of life. I am tired if people telling me what I can and can't do, or when people give me side glances when I tell them my ambition of studying in France. I don't want to conform to the life that I am told to live. I want to live how I decide to live.

I can only congratulate you on your courage and your open mind. The journey to oneself is a real roller coaster of emotions.I am 19 and started my journey to myself 2 months ago. For this purpose, I converted a transporter into a camper van and set off with it on the journey into the unknown.Via Iceland, Ireland, Scotland and the winter at the Arctic Circle, my way will lead me back to Germany next year. Then I will draw my first conclusion and decide whether I will continue my journey.I wish you the courage and happiness that each of us seeks.
