People often idealize the idea of moving to another country, but the reality is that once the initial excitement wears off you're left with the same challenges you had when you lived in your home country. It's true that relocating often energizes us to maybe give some aspects of our lives another try. For example, you might try making new friends, etc. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. One thing is for sure, there's no failing, there's only learning and growth. Kudos to anyone who is pushing the boundaries of their comfort zones.

Im experiencing a severe case of homesickness. I really miss my mom, my siblings and my cat. I feel so lonely and nervous all the time as im doing everything on my own all alone in an unfamiliar place n country all alone. Im afraid to mess up almost all day. I miss them so much ive been crying almost the whole week that, ive been here. Im managing things best, i can but i really miss them. I wish i could see them soon again it would calm me down somehow. I feel so guilty being here its like i signed up for something i cant handle. Talking, to them is like a drug, as soon as i turn the phone off my heart, begins aching again.
Thanks for thia video thom

I am struggling with the same feelings here in Germany. However, I know that Germany will be the first stopover in my long journey far away from home, and I am thrilled and scared at the same time. Let's share positivity and energy all together to pursue our dreams, Veronika :)

Living abroad is super lonely and complicated sometimes... But when we take this emotional and depressed time out, we can clearly see why we stay in this country and not in our own 😅.This happens a lot with me right now.

I had the same feelings when I was living in England (London) and Turkey (Bursa): those experiences have been emotionally demanding, but also invaluable for my personal and professional growth.
I wish I would have used that time better, lived more experiences and met more people, but it's fine as they are.

Good luck for this new experience and I wish you all the best ;)

Hey Veronica! I feel the same way when you’re talking about being a nerd in school and having no friends. I feel so related because I was so alone when the time I’m pursuing my studies and letting no one to interfere with my college life. But, I realised that I was so wrong as that moment would be my best moment of knowing friends. Once you’re graduated from college, you will no longer knowing any friends in your workplace and struggling with depression as you couldn’t earn that much money but still life goes on and killing you from the inside. That’s life I guess?

Hello Veronika. Thank your for sharing your experience. First at all, you're not alone, like you said you have your family, that love you. Then, it's not easy living alone and move another country without knowing the language. Yes, everything ok traveling and the emotion or euphoria of that, but behind the cameras you could feel alone and strange in another country (sapo de otro pozo, like we said in Argentina). All the best Veronika and i've recently found your channel. I'm sure will learn a lot with you. Regards!👋🇦🇷

I ve got the same feelings when I moved to Dubai, but the thing is, we should leave everything behind which makes us weak, the life is hard, so in order to live in this world we should be as strong as enough in order to encounter taught times.

I never comment on YouTube videos but, for this time, I just felt that I have to do it. I felt so impacted, in a positive way, while watching your video. I lived in Spain with my family, wife and daughter, just for one year. I had to return to my country, not because we decided to do so, but for, let's say, external reasons. I can perfectly understand what you say in the video because I felt mostly the same when I was there; and I have to say that, even knowing that I enjoyed so many things while living there. Now, I was talking to a friend some time and she said to me that you have to wait like five, yes 5!, years to just feel fine and adapted in that foreign country. I suppose that is an exaggeration, but just want to say to you: be patient. You are so intelligent, strong and nice; you are going to find your place in whatever country you decide to stay. Just give time a chance and let that adaptation process to complete ...
