The 5th night of FNaF Sister Location is one of the most underrated experiences in the series, and I hope that I'll be able to shed some light on it in my video today!

Sister location has the scariest ending just imagine getting your organs ripped out and having a sharp wire amalgamation treat you like a suit until you rot

Ennard has always been one of the scariest animatronics for me. I feel like a major factor of what makes it so scary is the sound design. The squeaking of metal as it moves paired with Baby/Elizabeth voices just seems so unnatural. The metallic squeaking noises specifically just give off the vibe of 'NOTHING should be making that sound, mechanical or otherwise'
A point that was brought up that I heard before was that Ennard is somewhat akin to a mechanical Skinwalker, the way it uses its voice mimicry to try and lure/kill people, so it can then disguise as them

And the phrase "Circus Baby has already been here [the scooping room] today." REALLY conveys the feeling of 'Ennard isn't Circus Baby anymore... at least not entirely.'

I always found it excruciatingly evil and tragic that Baby uses Michael's sisters voice to try and manipulate him to open the door. Imagine hearing your long dead sister's voice, begging you to open the door so she can see you, but her voice is coming from a horrifying tangled misshapen monster with a blank expression crawling through the vent systems.
That truly is the most chilling and terrifying thing in FNaF. Not to mention evil on Baby's part

I like how Ennard uses Elisabeth’s voice to get Michael to let Ennard in. The phrases “I don’t understand” and “I know it was an accident” is most likely used in the way that it is because Ennard don’t realize that the guard isn’t William.

I always found Ennard’s mask interesting, it’s weird that Ennard only wore it for a single night before wearing Michael’s skin, I personally think that since the mask is obviously modelled after a clown, they felt that wearing it gave them the feeling of being more human which really shows how much they want to escape and makes their eventual melding into the hivemind that is The Blob all the more tragic

You probably already knew this, but Ennard’s “face” is hanging over one of the doors earlier in the game, but as soon as Ennard is formed the mask is missing!

I practically only got the game for how great the 5th night and custom stuff was. The ennard fight has solid gameplay and the theme always gives me chills

I personally love the twist in the normal ending where she says “Circus Baby has already been here today” revealing that she’s Ennard

"When Sister Location was first released in 2016" feels like it came out just a couple years ago, how time flies.

In my opinion, Sister Location is the most unsettling entry in the series. The sudden futuristic tech, the somewhat sentient animatronics, the vibe of the rental facility, it all just feels like you're trapped in a dark, industrial cavern. Even the actual ending is so creepy and disturbing and could be seen as a twist on the whole getting stuffed into a suit idea.

I am rather curious of your opinions on Security Breach as I feel like it could've taken some notes from Sister Location and really play up the horror of sentient robots.

I forgot how good this night actually was, the music, the atmosphere, ennard in general and the lore, the fact that baby is so desperate to literally use you as a skin suit is terrifying, I absolutely love the voice lines baby has on this night, it really shows how manipulative she is, showing her true intentions. She's seriously just creepy but I love it, this has to be one of the most well crafted nights in the entire Fnaf series and I hadn't realised that until you made this video.

"It seems that you have accidentally wandered into a restricted area. Due to the sensitive nature of the materials that you may be exposed to here, you will not be allowed to leave until the clean-up crew arrives at 6 AM, so hang tight. Rest assured that you will be promptly rescued, fired, then sent home. Thank you for being an employee. We hope that your experience has not been as regrettable as ours."

Personally SL has my absolute favorite atmosphere out of the main 6 games, it gives me a “peaking behind the curtain” vibe, like your in the belly of the beast, the closest of horrors where the abominations you’ve been fighting against came from. The cold, inhuman metallic architecture, the feeling of supposedly empty rooms that you can’t help but feel is holding something that’s watching you, and the surprising incomprehensible size of the facility your trapped in not to mention how uniquely terrifying the Funtime’s were at the time they were the first animatronics (minus Springton) that felt fully sentient, the way they’re 100% aware of who you are and are OUT FOR BLOOD. Just chills all around
Honestly it’s a bit of a shame this ending wasn’t canon, it’s wicked as hell

What makes this even more sad is that Baby thought Michael was William and Elizabeths soul was probably mad at her father for creating Baby after realizing the truth. But after discovering it was actually Michael, she might have felt guilty. Michael even states that they thought he was his father. Thats probably why after ennard escaped into the sewers, Baby kept repeating "you wont die." Not only knowing that Michael wouldn't die because of the Remnant, but because she might have still wanted him to live. In Pizzeria Simulator, however, Elizabeth changed and became more twisted and wanted to take on the role that Circus Baby was created for. She was so mentally and emotionally broken, they all were. Michael was just trying to be a good brother and save at least one of his siblings, since he failed his brother.

the reveal that you were michael afton all along during this night not only recontextualized your motivations during this game, but the entire FRANCHISE up to that point. one of the biggest story complaints you’d always hear back in the day was that it made no sense for the player character to come back to the facilities in 1-3 after seeing their first animatronic move at night. after SL, we know that he knew exactly what he was getting into, and its just a fabulous way to resolve a plothole like that. this one night was a GAME CHANGER for the whole series.

One of my only problems with the night is that after dying to Ennard in the private room, you have to go through the entire section of going through funtime auditorium, listening to baby's speech, and doing the keypad thing which takes like at least 2 minutes. It's not a huge issue, but it makes it annoying to have to deal with that every time you die instead of the game placing you at entering the private room so you can do more attempts in less time.

I never gave that secret ending a try, I only did the regular ending and was done with it, might give it a proper try someday

The music for the 5th night is called "Watch Your Six", which is a good way of saying to watch the clock. Although it also has a second meaning, which is a term used in military - watch your back. You turn around, just like Baby would expect, but not exactly - she didn't expect it to go wrong. Now you're the one turning your back.

The only bad thing about this night is that if I remember correctly, every time you die you respawn before sending Baby to the scooping room which is very frustating and time consuming for no reason. Still, I think Scott should have make this the true ending, it's just more climatic and interesting

I love how Ennard says “We will find a way out” when the night ends and then when it gets to the “Michael watching TV” scene for the night, if you look all the way over to the right Ennard is standing there, watching you
They really did find a way out
