Thank you for this! Windows always has new sets of problems in every update, it's awful. No wonder people don't want to update anything

It's been a week I'm trying to solve this problem until I found your video. Bro, thank you so much, I'm a ROG user so on battery I had selected best performance mode, now that I switched to best power efficiency mode in power&battery option the issue is solved. Thank you again, take love and God bless you. From my end, you deserve my subscription.

Hi, great channel has really helped. Do you know how to fix out of sync issues, I have two Edifier smart speakers, but they are about one second out. I've tried a few things but not solved, cheers.

I turned on "Fast Start-Up"

Then turned it off after a week, and my PC Audio cracks and pops even reinstalling /updating sound drivers, disabling audio enhancements, Processor Minimum Power and other else... still suffering from this :(

Thank you Geek Page! Going to the power configuration and changing the power plan to "high performance" did the trick!

Nothing Fixed It, I'm really mad, i don't know how to explain it, I was listening to a song on spotify and I only heard the voices of the song, and the volume has gone down, and both of my 2 outputs don't even work. is there something wrong with my sound card? I'm having this problem for month's, it's like I'm deaf, so I always take my headphones off.

1:36 this was my issue. i had this strange audio crackle while playing games. Specifically Cod. while loading into the game or matches i would get crackles while the game lagged (hardware not internet) both booting up the game and getting into matches. it was mainly to other audio sources (not the main game audio, it was the voice chat or spotify youtube etc. and seemed to sync up with the games drops in fps while loading) this led me to believe it was my cpu or other hardware reaching 100% and windows giving the game priority over other audio processing. i have a HiRes DAC and i guess at some point messed with the bits and hertz. i had it set to 32 bit, 384000 Hz and it wasnt until i dropped it to 32 bit, 192000 Hz that the crackle stopped.

It doesn't have any power plan except balanced. Also it doesn't let me change the Default Format for my speakers properties in mmsys.cpl. I think it sounds better after messing with all of this, but not perfect. I appreciate the help. I have the Surface Pro 8.
