Apparently Ford thought it was cheaper to fight the lawsuits involving the exploding Pintos than recalling & fixing the problem. The fix would've been a small insulator isolating the bolt that speared the gas tank in a rear end collision

I just received my check in the mail today

They were definitely sketchy when they were selling me my car. I went to the Alexandria dealership.

Toyota Financial had to pay for discriminatory practices against me and other black buyers. People keep trying to treat racial discrimination as something of the past. It’s still happening, but not all of it is reported

NJ AG settled an enforcement action with three large dealerships this year for the same malarky on fees. If I remember correctly, they were charged with fraud. Per your comments that it's great that regulators are finally taking enforcement action, the announcement from the AGs office in NJ indicated that they had gotten hundreds of consumer complaints regarding dealership behavior which caused their investigation. So consumers should always contact their State's Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection if they've had an exploitative experience at a dealer.

Hello Ray and Zack, what do you have to say about the Hyundai Santa Cruz transmission issues. I received a notice from Hyundai about the issue and it says there is no remedy yet. It says that the vehicle will just stop on you.

Whats disturbing about this is the fact that its ONLY the passport group and a few months ago it was ONLY the napelton group when more that 90% of the dealership groups and online sellers are using the same methods to sell cars - Right now anybody that watches this channel can name at least 10 major dealerships in their area doing the same thing and wondering why they have not got busted yet!

This GM lawsuit with engines how about the 2.6 Billion 2008 lawsuit involving Dex Cool corrosive to engines and would gel in the system The engines involved were the Cadillac North star head gaskets and bolts Buick 3800 series II intake gaskets-and the 3.1 and 3.4 V-6 was also included in the Dex Cool Lawsuit. GM knew that these engines were not made for Dex cool. Saturn used to use Honda made 4 cylinder and V-6 engines in the early to mid 90's and they wanted to use dex cool in their engines and Honda told them if they do Honda will not cover any engine damage. GM wanted to save money but didnt and trashed Saturn reputation when they started using their crappy GM ecotech engines and Saturn went down by 2008.

it isn't the immediate 3.3 million. It's the size of the story and impact of It's reach. That "could" cost them significantly more but I find people have short memories.

I'm looking for a Ford F150. Every Ford CPO vehicle that I've encountered seems to be a vehicle that has had a 'recall' that required Ford to intervene. Is this typical?
