I just joined the Bandai group build. I wasn't sure about the Kit. Your review convinced me so thanks for posting.

This was a super helpful video. I haven't built a model since I was a kid with those dollar store kits. None of the sellers I found on Amazon did a very good job of explaining whether or not I'd need to paint it. Most of them didn't even show the actual model parts.

I'll have to take a look on eBay. It looks cool but the $30+ I keep seeing seems a little pricey.

I'm glad they wrap our model kits here in the States. Our favorite shippers are not very careful with the way they handle things. Or one could say :Subete ga Mechakucha Sa rete imasu! Sorry! can't translate, there maybe kids watching.

Here in Japan, being able to open up a kit and inspect the contents is a selling point for models. In the USA, people may worry that somebody may have stolen something. Having a lower crime rate here results in a different mindset.
