Mandalorian Boba Fett Bandai Repaint Armor Star Wars S.H. Figuarts Disney Action Figure Review

I've been waiting for the Bandai S.H. Figuarts Mandalorian Season 2 Boba Fett in repainted armor A)because I really wanted one for the shelf and B)to see if I could skip the Hasbro versions. I do have my nitpicks with this version from Tamashii Nations, but I think I good with it being my end-all be-all display version. Pretty happy. Mostly.

Your final thoughts are exactly where Im leaning. Yes it comes out to over 100 bucks from BBTS, but on the other hand it does look a lot better than what we have seen from Hasbros deluxe throne room version. Going back and looking at the cheap plastic "skirt" and the lack of accessories really makes this one shine in comparison. Ive never gotten a SHF figure, but this may be my first and I will probably cancel the preorder for the Hasbro one.

I have recently for the first time experienced the miracle that is DHL shipping from Japan, for the Mafex TDKR Armored Batman. Paid for it on a Friday, got the shipping notice from AmiAmi at like 2 AM Monday morning, had it in-hand Tuesday evening, just made me think "Dang, Robo wasn't kidding about that DHL shipping".

Great review, like this version of Boba and redesign in the BOBF, the contrast in colors and black really make the reds and green pop. Also noticed the promo helmet and visor difference to the final product, but still acceptable in the end. But one thing Bandai left out which was advertised in the promo, is the original silver or gold plug port where the chain code emanates from - now it's an ugly gaping hole!

Hmm, after seeing the final shots of the Black Series Boba Fett, I think I'm leaning more towards that one, personally. I love the cloth goods on the SHF, but, the whole thing definitely appears a bit too cartoony. At least to my liking. The figure still looks amazing though!

Really cool looking figure, like it has some soft goods. But that unmasked head with the wonky eyes is one of the funniest things I seen. Sorry you got unlucky with that mate. Great review!

So cool seeing Temurea doing his best Sloth from Goonies impression here. 😄 We have officially arrived to point where Black Series (for all its flaws) do better headsculpts than SH Figuarts.
