Just want to say I always appreciate your videos demystifying the adoption process! Things like your videos and The Adoptee Next Door give more detail and nuance than I'd encounter in pop culture, so thank you!

As a mom whose kids were forcibaly removed from our family home and put in foster care for over 18 months before we got them back. There was. I abuse in our home, no neglect…the story and who reported were completely bullshit. Long long long story, I will write more

When you choose a child you think you want to adopt from foster care, do you get to meet the child before officially adopting them? I've heard different answers about this. I'm in USA, AZ

If I wanted to adopt through the foster system, but was hoping for a child that is younger than 5 to keep my biological children’s age timeline in the correct order, could I just sign up to be a foster parent but make it clear to the case worker that I only want to take in children who are likely not going to be reunited with birth family? Or is that not something they can do.

How much do they discriminate against single people adopting these days? My current foster placement is most likely headed towards adoption, but I don't think I can handle another 2-3 year long process when we're already over a year into hers. I want to just go for straight adoption but I'm not sure if I will ever be chosen in a process like this

Thanks for the video! Just wondering, does the state usually cover the cost of an adoption attorney for the final part of the foster care adoption process or is that something the adoptive parent must cover? If not, what are the typical fees involved? Also, is having an adoption attorney a requirement or simply recommended?

The two sibling group is of siblings group that have been identified as special needs to be adopted as sibling group. Mix ages from 3 years old to 15 years of age. One sibling group is of #5 sibling group and another group that we are also interested in is sibling group of # 8 .I come from a large family mainly buit on same needs and was built by sibling groups merge as 1 large family.
