I don’t think BBM is dodging the debate because he’s scared. What he doesn’t like was the narrative of the debate and the questions or topics are engulfed around Martial Law, Human rights victims, hidden wealth and the negativity of political campaign whom other candidates are espousing. Many of us maybe wanted to see a political debates but when I heard BBM’s reason why he does not want any part of it and prefers the town hall meetings instead so he can properly laid down his agenda and platform effectively to the masses. It makes sense. Rather than throwing dirt at each other why not the barrow the format of Toni Gonzaga on her Toni Talks in You Tube. Or Boy Abunda format? Mas mahaba ang oras para magpaliwanag. 39 years na tayong nasanay sa siraan tactics ng mga trapo. Tama na siguro ang ganyan estilo? Dapat friendly talks na lang para kung matalo man pwede pa rin tayong maging magkaibigan at pwede sumoporta sa bagong halal regardless of political affiliation.
