How about the other Government official who are still on their seats? To prove this allegation we suggest the petitioners get hold and publish to public media the decision and conviction penned by the Justices of Court of Appeal who gave BBM only a slapped on his hands without the required jail term as mandated by the Law on Tax Evasion.
This will erase any speculation or trial by Publicity thrown to each other by both Camp.

It was not a tax evasion. And the CA reduced it to just payment of penalties. Failure to file tax returns as decision of SC in BBM's case does not fall under moral turpitude.

BBM was not found liable for offense that carries perpetual disqualification. The final judgement did not carry imprisonment and his failure to file ITR did not constitute moral turpitude as ruled by SC (in 1997?).
