Who seriously came up with the idea to put prepubescent or pubescent minors on hormone blockers without emphasizing its life-long, irreversible effects? How can anyone be so certain that children will not change their minds? Why can’t we have children decide at a later time in their lives when they are more mentally, emotionally, hormonally, and physically capable of making sound, and safe decisions for themselves? If we have laws preventing minors from driving, consuming alcohol, getting tattoos, getting into clubs, smoking cigarettes, etc - why can’t there be laws prohibiting HRT/hormone blockers until a certain age? It just doesn’t make any sense.
