Nice job! But I was wondering why raise the garden beds doesn’t that just give you more work than just planting it in the ground?

I used to like the raised bed idea but when I took it from a raised garden bed which some giant flowers came up In I moved it and the soil is still good there so I put things in it and around it.

At least for the next couple of weeks, don't stay out too long. I don't think bone chilling is enough for what Mother Nature has in store for us!! Only one question: Was Dale too smart to come out today? Sitting at 18.5 degrees at 7:30 and knowing that the "cold weather" isn't expected until next week doesn't exactly make me want to run out and work in the garden right now!! Kudos to you for doing it. My older bones (and artificial "bones") aren't exactly up for all of this right now. I'm thinking this might be the time to load up some seed trays and bring my heat mats into the house and work in here!!j Can't leave water out for the girls because it would freeze. Now is the time to get rid of the neighbor's dogs' poopy gifts. They are frozen solid!! Stay warm and thanks for sharing!

i doubted the raised bed thing for nematodes but i was wrong, it is a actual recommendation from agricultural places.
the best way though is disease/pest resistant cultivars. i got a little nematodes but mainly fusarium, and now looking for such seed

Could you please draw a diagram of your plan and show it just a few seconds. I don’t get a view of the beds all together, or, how many beds total will you have? Will they be beside each other in a row?

Do you still have the asparagus bed? I know you said they were in the way.

Oh no. Please no shorts. For some unknown reason I hate shorts. I have canceled several Youtubers for going to shorts. Not a threat, just a fact. I would very much miss your videos.
