No religion could ever get me to stop smoking weed except for my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I was blind but now I see !

Jesus claimed to be the Son of God. Performed miracles. But most importantly rose from the dead. He fulfilled prophecy in ways nobody anticipated.

12 minutes of my guy trying to give the reasoning. Crazy. But the eyes of my heart are open and I believe in Jesus 😊

There seems to be a big misunderstanding about Jesus from the perspective of Jews. He himself was not Catholic, but a Torah observant Jew.
I just wanted to mention that Jesus (his historical Jewish name he was called by was Yeshua— meaning Salvation) was crucified in 33 A.D. by the Roman Empire, and Catholicism was not established until 312 A.D. by the Roman Empirer Constantine. There was 300 years of extreme persecution to Jesus’ Jewish and Greek followers by the Roman Government under Nero, Domitian, Marcus Aurelius, Decius, Trebonianus Gallus, Emperor Valerian, and Augustus Diocletian before Constantine allowed everyone to enjoy religious freedom, and later, he founded Catholicism, the Roman Government’s religion. They might have tried to include it under “Christianity” down the road, but they proudly defied the Bible and proclaimed supremacy over God and the Bible and perverted it completely because of the greed of money. They built sprawling places of ‘worship’ with the money they received by telling their followers that they could pay for a place in heaven, and pay to have their sins forgiven. They certainly did not know or follow Jesus’ teachings, and they went against him in every way. They later forced everyone including Christians, Jews, Romans, and Greeks to become Catholic….or die. They had many inquisitions, including against Jesus’ own people, the Jews. Jesus had no connection with Catholicism, yet many of the world religions were so inspired by his teachings that many wanted to include him in their religion. He, however, included no one. He said “I am the way, the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me.” The New Testiment was written by Jews for Jews showing how Yeshua fullfilled the prophecies of the Torah and Tanakh for the Messiah. He was crucified down to the day Daniel the prophet predicted the ‘Anointed One’ would be cut off from his people. (Daniel 9:26After the sixty-two ‘sevens, ’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. )

The Sanctuary was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. …… 33 years after Yeshua’s crucifixion.

Jesus is the most famous Jewish Rabbi in history. He taught the Torah in the 2nd Temple in Jerusalem, lived from 4 B.C. to 33 A.D., his 12 disciples were Jewish, he himself was from the tribe of Judah, he observed the Jewish feasts, was crucified on Passover in Jerusalem, the same day the sacrificial lamb was being killed for the sins of Israel. Exactly 2000 years before Jesus was born, in 2004 B.C., Abraham offered his first born son Isaac on the alter on Mount Moriah. God stopped him and said he would provide the sacrifice himself. Abraham looked up and saw a ram with a crown of thorns on his head, caught in a thicket. It was said there of that place, “the Lord will provide.” Exactly 2000 years later, God provided. He sent his one and only Son, Yeshua, to be the sacrifice for not just the sins of Israel, but the sins of the world. Jesus was crucified with a crown of thorns on his head just outside of the city gate of Jerusalem in 33 A.D., on Mount Moriah, in the exact same place Abraham offered his one and only son Isaac. The Roman Procurator Pontius Pilate twisted together a crown of thorns for his head and the soldiers offered him vinegar mixed with gall to drink. They pulled out his beard, spit on him, and flogged him 39 times. They pierced his hands and his feet, and later pierced him in his side with a spear, to make sure he was dead before they took him down from the cross. The Romans wrote a sign above him that read “King of the Jews”. He was given the death of a criminal, —Crucifixion— the most severe punishment executed by the Roman Government, yet was laid in a rich man’s tomb— Joseph of Arimathea laid him in his own tomb cut out of the rock. 2000 years before Abraham was born, Adam was born, in 4004 B.C. and death and sin came to us all from one man. But through one man 4000 years later, the whole world was given a chance for salvation and eternal life through Yeshua, our Salvation!

Isaiah 49:6

He says, “It is too small a thing that You should be My Servant
To raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved ones of Israel;
I will also make You a light to the Gentiles
So that My salvation may reach to the end of the earth.”

Job 16
10People open their mouths to jeer at me;
they strike my cheek in scorn
and unite together against me.
11God has turned me over to the ungodly
and thrown me into the clutches of the wicked.
12All was well with me, but he shattered me;
he seized me by the neck and crushed me.
He has made me his target;
13his archers surround me.
Without pity, he pierces my kidneys
and spills my gall on the ground.
14Again and again he bursts upon me;
he rushes at me like a warrior.
15“I have sewed sackcloth over my skin
and buried my brow in the dust.
16My face is red with weeping,
dark shadows ring my eyes;
17yet my hands have been free of violence
and my prayer is pure.
18“Earth, do not cover my blood;
may my cry never be laid to rest!

Job did not have his kidneys pierced, and he did not die in this way. He was prophesying about what Jesus would go through.

Psalms 89
50Remember, Lord, how your Servant has been mocked,
how I bear in my heart the taunts of all the nations,
51the taunts with which your enemies, Lord, have mocked,
with which they have mocked every step of your Anointed One.

The world’s oldest book ever written, the Book of Job, gives us a beautiful nugget of insight. Job had the foresight to know that his Redeemer, Jesus lived and that one day He would see him face to face.

Job 16
19Even now my witness is in heaven;
my advocate is on high.
20My intercessor is my friend
as my eyes pour out tears to God;
21on behalf of a man he pleads with God
as one pleads for a friend.

Jesus’ lineage was from the house of David. He was born in Bethlehem.

Micah 5
2“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.”

^this “man’s” origin’s were from old, from ancient times
-this was not just any regular man, but one of heavenly origin.

Psalms 69
3I am worn out calling for help;
my throat is parched….21They put gall in my food
and gave me vinegar for my thirst…the insults of those who insult you fall on me.

Let’s be honest here. The sanhidren and the Jewish leaders were being called out on their greed and egos and they weren’t fans of it.

That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven and things under the earth. And every tongue shall confess that Jesus christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father 🙏❤️

Read Isaiah 53
I will read a part Isaiah 53:5
He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities;
The punishment that bought us peace was on him,
and by His words we are healed.
We all, like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to our own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him
The iniquity of all.

The Messaiah was prophesied to suffer and carry our sins.

If our God is ONE, how can there be a trinity? How can Jesus be equal to God? How can God be a man? Christianity began within Judaism, but nowhere does Judaism say that Messiah would be God, or equal to God. Messiah, etymologically, merely means "anointed." I don't even think Jesus himself claimed to be God. He certainly was not trying to start a new religion.

I love how he’s describing the messiah should be while also, describing what Jesus did 😊😊 he’s also saying scripture out of context . Some scriptures are clearly refering to the end

I think one of the biggest obstacles to the Jewish community understanding specifically about Yeshua is that they have never had an opportunity to read the gospels that tell about his life. To find out that he was born in Bethlehem, raised in Nazareth. He taught between the area of the Sea of Galilee and Jerusalem. Within the Tanakh, many are often unfamiliar with messianic passages like Isaiah 53 and as in many as a hundred other Messianic prophecies that were fulfilled by Yeshua himself, during his time on earth. As well as his death, the type of death he died and of course his resurrection and manner of return. Even some of the Feasts foretell the life of this one person Yeshua. There are now Jewish translations of what is called the New Testament or second covenant. It's a mistake to look at people claiming to be "Christian" who do evil things and think that that is representative of the person of Yeshua. Anyone can call themselves anything but you have to go right to the source and see for yourself. Who he is, what he said and did, and keep an open mind. All the writers of the brit hadasha were Jewish. It takes place in ancient Israel. It references Pasach, Sukkot and Hanukah. It's worth a look.

This is very insightful. I've always wondered why the Jews dont believe in Jesus. Its just misunderstanding of the scritures-what they think God is saying versus what God actually means. But the more he delineated the points, the more I saw Jesus as a perfect fulfillment. Shalom

I feel like instead of listening, thinking about it and praying for deep understanding. Everyone is fast to comment and put their interpretation on the verse.

I got filled with the Holy Spirit, baptized in fire when I was 23, literally my entire felt like it was on fire like from the book of Acts. The Jews rejected their Messiah Yeshua 2000 years ago and they’re still doing it today. This is what happens when you ask Rabbis to teach you the Bible instead of asking God for the truth

53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Daniel 9: 24- 27 from the JEWISH scriptures ( An odd distinction since the New Testament is also Jewish) states that Messiah will come prior to the destruction of the temple, a temple which in Daniels time was yet to be rebuilt. The temple was destroyed in 70 A.D, if the Messiah is not Jesus of Nazareth then there is no messiah.
