the thing about Rachel is she vocally looks down and disrespects other women who do not meet her personal standards of feminism. she talks about Snow White's character as if Snow is a loser for wanting to have someone she loves. also in interviews Rachel equates Snow White's kindness with weakness, which is completely untrue, it takes a lot of strength to be kind to others especially after the abuse she received from her step-mother in the story. Snow White's character is a good person and that's why the character is so beloved, not because she is a "strong leader" but because she is genuinely a good person to everyone around her.

Everything we have seen about Rachel's attitude and especially the replacement of the 7 dwarfs is so far from the original story. As stated in this video, Snow White is of German origins (aka, The Brothers Grimm). She is described in the story as having hair as black as coal, skin as white as snow, and lips as red as blood. The dwarves are described as "seven little men". Also, in the story, the prince doesn't become aware of her until she has been sleeping from the effects of the poison apple for several years. The prince is so enamored by her beauty that he wants to keep her at his castle so he can gaze upon her beauty. He has her glass coffin transported to his kingdom. Along the way, the men carrying it drop it which dislodges the bite of poison apple and Snow White awakens. There is no "true love's kiss".

As I recall the story, she's only SEVEN years old when she's taken into the woods to be k!lled. It doesn't make clear how long she's out there before she takes a bite of that poisoned apple.
