Disney just dropped the first teaser for its live-action Snow White and it sparked an internet firestorm that’s burning hotter than ever! The film starring Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen has been under fire for being too Woke and casting a Latina actress to play the role of Snow White. To make matters worse, Rachel Zegler has not exactly won the popular vote amongst critics of the movie and has created a lot of controversy surrounding the film.

People don't care if she's latina or not. She's not, btw. Her grandma is, she doesn't even know spanish or live in Latin America.
I'm latinamerican and ours is just one more culture, not better, not worse than any other.
These woke celebrities kissing latinamerican asses is so tiring. We already know the value or our roots and culture (which is very rich and different from one country to another btw. Not that they know)
We don't need these hollywood elites "validating" normal (not-mega-rich) 3rd world people, as no other culture needs their praise or validation. We don't need their advocation.
What most people wanted from this movie was a magical moment to remember a beautiful classic.
Couldn't they just have respected the original movie without always making a children's movie into a racial, feministic soup?
Kids and adults who grew up with these movies don't want or need to be indoctrinated. We just want to enjoy a beloved story without all of the woke drama.
7 little people, a girl with skin as fair as snow, a prince and an evil witch was all that was needed. But, no.
Everything has to be overcomplicated, polarizing and political these days.
I'm glad we get a no bs version of Snow White.

And here we go again. I don't care about race, gender, orientation as long as there are no major changes to the story. I was fine with the nationallity of the actress because with a little makeup she looked close enough to pass for white.. That is kind of a big deal in the story.. I just hate the nonstop gender, rafce, orientation swaps in general. Start from scratch and make something original more often will you.
