Oh girl I needed this- I graduated in 2023- STILL haven’t written my NCLEX-I write it at the end of the month 😳). I feel like so much time has gone by that I need a miracle.

After finishing nursing school during Covid which was hard enough, my mum was diagnosed with dementia and NOTHING has prepared me for watching her slowly deteriorate- I love my mom so much, she’s my best friend. And she was always my #1 supporter and now I’m hers. I’ve just spent the last year crying in the shower, crying myself to sleep but pretending to be strong and acting like I’m fine. You have no idea how much I needed to hear this ❤🫶🏻

❤❤❤❤ thank you so much sometimes I hide my doubt and I think to myself I’d be okay working FT as an PCA. Then I go to work and the nurses I work with are so strong, smart, caring and never take short cuts never take the easy way and are knee deep in the grind with our patients and I want to be just like them. Specially Nurse Wendy! 😊♥️ I am an adult student and have to remind myself daily that it’s okay to be older and do this! So thank you for telling it to me today, so I didn’t have to tell myself. ❤

It sure was temporary but felt like it was permanent. So glad it is now over 3+ yrs ago. I will never forget the kind of stress they put us through...

I'm starting school for LVN in September and I hope to be able to pay my bills and support my 2 babies better. I'm doing this for them, I'm doing this for me. Thank you for this video it motivated me!

I dont miss nursing school one bit. All that information in school did nothing for me as a nurse in the real world. I'm in the operating room so none of that shit applied in school at all
