I'm from Ukraine. I always wanted to understand English-speaking people and be able to communicate with them freely without a language barrier. But I never thought that it was the war that would force us to leave our native country and we would find ourselves among English-speaking people. And now it’s very difficult because on the one hand there is a need to learn English, on the other hand the subconscious puts a block, because migrating because of the war and immediately plunging into another environment is a lot of stress, as if you have lost yourself and no longer understand who you are, what real life before or after.
