One of the Best Ever Guitar Solo`s was done at this very show...Terry Kath was a REAL BADASS...you have to see it "25 or 6 to 4" at this Show!

Early Chicago was AMAZING!!! "25 or 6 to 4" from this same concert has one of the greatest guitar solos ever. "Beginnings" is another one worth checking out.

Terry Kath was an official, card carrying Beast!
Hendrix himself was even like, Daaam!

Terry's solo in 25 or 6 to 4 from this concert is epic! Another of the greats gone way too early. Chicago was never the same.

Now quick while this is in your mind, do 25 or 6 to 4 from the same concert. It will blow you away too. I saw Chicago live 5 times in the 70's, they were spectacular every time.

Terry Kath guitars, Peter Cetera bass, Robert Lamm keyboard, Danny Seraphine drums, Walter Parazaider Saxophone, Lee Loughane Trumpet, and the great James Pankow on Trumpet. This band kicked ass big time.

The best part is they all look like they're having fun.

This is a cover of the hit by the Spencer Davis Group, with Steve Winwood on organ and vocals.

I love that your cat, like ours, always has to be a part of whatever we're doing! Adorable. The albums of the time, Like "Chicago Transit Authority", were conceived as whole albums, with an art tto song arrangement. I'm 28 yrs. sober, and trust me, it still sounds incredible. Terry Kath and Freddie Prinze were gone too soon from playing with guns, perhaps under the influence. I don't know if Katz was sober and just careless, but Prinze's friends believe it was an accidental death, not suicide, and he was too high to hold up the gun or handle it safely. Too horrific losses. Kath was so, so good. I love Peter Cetera's voice, too, so it's not a knock on newer Chicago music.

I hung out at Tanglewood back in the 70s…so many great musicians and fun times, even on the lawn there! Saw so many inventive, cool people and their great talents! It was an amazing time to be alive.

The 70s era of music was special. You name it Hard Rock, Funk, Soul and the live albums were incredible. Bands wanted to put out ALBUMS not one hit wonders. Double albums were historic. Super groups who sold out stadiums. This era influences so much music to this day. Proud to say I was a teen in this decade. Amazing music!

I love these sections where these pros show us what can be done with all the rhythm instruments that we pounded away at in elementary school: cowbell, block, triangle, tambourine etc

Terry Kath (guitar) and Danny Seraphine (drums) are the B.E.S.T!!!! I saw Danny last year, and he's still got it, even after having a heart attack in 2022. And he still ALWAYS chews gum (just as you could see him chewing when he took that momentary breather during his RAD solo). Chicago still tours, and they still have (I believe) 3 original members. Kath passed young, but the others are still kickin'. The guy on cowbell is the trombone player, James Pankow, and he wrote many (most?) of the band's arrangements.

The cat is saying, "Hey! Stop throwing me off the stage. In my 2nd life I was a percussionist in the band and sang lead on the fourth verse!"

They were in a league of their own! As a whole, one of the most talented bands of all time!
